Plans and prices
witnd offers Free, Plus, and Founder. Paid purchases use Stripe’s secure payment form in witnd. Existing Checkout links may open a Stripe-hosted page. Review the plan, billing frequency, currency, and total shown before confirming payment.
- Free — $0: up to 10 saved plans and 100 AI credits once.
- Plus — $5 per month or $48 per year: unlimited plans, 1,500 AI credits monthly, and included automatic insights. The displayed yearly price is 20% less than twelve monthly payments.
- Founder — a one-time $39: lifetime access for the first 50 early supporters, with unlimited plans, 3,000 AI credits monthly, included automatic insights, and early access to new features. Lifetime means for as long as witnd operates, for the purchasing account. There is no recurring subscription fee.
Prices and payments are in US dollars (USD). The app’s display-currency setting does not convert subscription prices. Your bank may apply its own conversion or transaction fees. Any applicable tax collected at checkout is included in the total shown before payment.
Stripe and payment details
Stripe processes payment details through its secure embedded form or hosted pages. witnd stores billing identifiers, purchase status, and payment references to manage access and support. We do not receive or store full card numbers or security codes. Don’t send payment credentials by email or through X.
Paid access starts after the server verifies a successful payment. Returning from Checkout alone does not activate a plan. If confirmation is delayed, check Settings → Subscription or contact support before making another purchase.
Renewal and cancellation
Plus renews automatically each month or year at the selected billing frequency until you cancel. Manage payment methods, invoices, and cancellation through Settings → Subscription → Manage billing.
Cancellation stops the next renewal. Paid access continues until the end of the period already paid for. After paid access ends, saved plans remain and Free plan limits apply. Free and Founder have no recurring charge to cancel. Promotional or manually granted access does not create a paid subscription.
When offered in the app, Monthly → Yearly opens Checkout immediately. Active paid monthly members receive a $5 credit on the first annual payment: $43 today, then $48 each year. Yearly access begins after payment is verified and the previous monthly subscription stops. Yearly → Monthly and switching to Free take effect at the end of the current paid period.
Active paid monthly Plus members can upgrade to Founder with a $5 credit, for a one-time total of $34. Annual Plus members receive credit based on the actual amount paid and the unused fraction of the current annual period, rounded down to cents and capped at the $39 Founder price. This credit is used only for the Founder upgrade, cannot be transferred, and is not paid out in cash, except where required by law. If credit covers the full price, the total is $0; completing Checkout is still required. Founder must have a remaining allocation. The old subscription stops only after the upgrade is verified. Cancelling or leaving an unfinished upgrade checkout does not change the current subscription.
A failed payment does not create a new paid period or allowance. For changes not offered in the app, contact support.
Refunds
You may request a full refund within 7 days after your first paid purchase, including a monthly Plus subscription, an annual Plus subscription, or Founder. Email palamto@protonmail.com from your account email within that period and include the purchase date and receipt or payment reference. Don’t include full card details.
Automatic renewal payments are not refundable under this standard policy. For example, the second monthly or second annual Plus payment is a renewal, rather than a first purchase. Cancelling does not automatically request a refund or refund unused time. Founder is paid once and has no renewal payments.
We investigate duplicate or incorrect charges separately. This policy does not limit refunds or other rights required by applicable law. Approved refunds go through Stripe to the original payment method; the time they take to appear depends on Stripe and your payment provider.
A full refund ends the paid access and unused monthly allowance associated with the refunded purchase. It does not delete saved plans, erase preserved credits from before the purchase, or remove independently granted access. A refunded subscription is also cancelled to prevent future renewal charges. Partial refunds and disputes are reviewed individually.
AI credits
AI credits measure in-app AI usage. They have no cash value and aren’t a payment method. AI plan entry and new analyses requested with “Analyze now” can use credits. Eligible automatic insights are included without using credits, and unchanged inputs can reuse a saved result without another charge.
Plus receives 1,500 credits each month, including on the annual plan. Founder receives 3,000 each month. The allowance refreshes on the monthly anniversary of the purchase, using UTC and the last day of shorter months where necessary. Unused monthly credits do not carry over. Existing credits are preserved separately and are not added to your current monthly allowance.
A credit adjustment for an AI request is separate from a payment refund. If usage looks incorrect, email us with the approximate time and what you were doing so we can review the request. You don’t need to share the contents of your financial plans.
