About the service
witnd is an independent financial-planning app maintained by palamto (@palamto). Questions about these terms can be sent to palamto@protonmail.com.
The app helps you schedule income and expenses and estimate how your balance could change. It does not connect to a bank, move money, make payments, or verify whether a scheduled transaction actually happened.
Your account and plans
Use an email address you control and keep access to your email and sign-in links secure. You’re responsible for the information entered into your account and for reviewing your plan details. Don’t submit information you don’t have the right to use.
Your plan information remains yours. We process it to operate the app as described in our Privacy Policy. Keep your own records of information that matters to you.
Forecasts and AI are planning tools
Forecasts depend on the amounts, dates, and settings you enter. They are estimates, not statements of your actual bank balance or guarantees of future results.
AI can misunderstand a request or produce an incomplete or incorrect explanation. Check amounts, schedules, and other details before saving a plan or making a decision. witnd does not provide personalized investment, tax, legal, lending, or other regulated financial advice.
AI credits and availability
AI-assisted plan entry and explicitly requested new analyses use AI credits based on usage. A cached result can be reused without another credit charge. Included automatic insights for eligible plans do not use your AI credits.
AI credits are an app-usage allowance, not money, a financial asset, or a promise of a fixed number of requests. AI features may be limited by your account’s allowance, service budgets, provider availability, or safeguards against abuse. You can enter plan details manually without using AI credits.
Feature availability and allowances are shown on the pricing page. Plus is $5/month or $48/year. Founder is a one-time $39 for the first 50 early supporters. Founder lifetime access lasts for as long as witnd operates, for the purchasing account; it has no recurring subscription fee.
Plus includes 1,500 AI credits each month, including with annual billing; Founder includes 3,000 each month. Unused monthly allowances do not carry over. Existing credits are kept separately and are not reset by a purchase. See the Billing & Refund Policy for allowance timing and usage.
Purchases, renewals, and refunds
Stripe handles Checkout and billing management. Plus subscriptions renew automatically at the selected monthly or annual frequency until cancelled. Review the total and billing frequency before paying. Paid access begins after payment is verified by our server.
Cancel through Settings → Subscription → Manage billing. Cancellation stops the next renewal, while access continues through the period already paid for. It does not automatically request a refund. Saved plans remain when paid access ends, subject to Free plan limits.
You may request a full refund within 7 days after your first paid purchase, including Founder. Automatic renewals, such as a second monthly or annual payment, are not refundable under this standard policy. Incorrect or duplicate charges are investigated separately, and rights required by applicable law remain in effect. Acceptable use
- Use witnd lawfully and respect other people’s privacy and rights.
- Don’t try to access another person’s account, bypass limits, exploit security flaws, or disrupt the service.
- Don’t use automated requests or multiple accounts to evade usage limits or create unreasonable load.
- Don’t upload malicious content or use the service to facilitate fraud or other unlawful activity.
We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate abuse, or meet legal obligations. Contact us if you believe a restriction is a mistake.
Service availability and changes
Features may change, and outages or errors can occur. We don’t promise uninterrupted availability or error-free forecasts. Where the law allows, the service is provided as available. Nothing here excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.
We will give notice of material changes to paid access or subscription pricing before they apply. Subscription price changes apply to future renewals, rather than changing a period already paid for. Temporary or promotional access does not create a paid subscription.
Leaving witnd
You can stop using witnd at any time. Cancel an active Plus subscription to stop renewal charges. To request a copy of your information or account deletion, email palamto@protonmail.com from your account’s email address. Account deletion is handled by request; we will help resolve active billing as part of that process. See the Privacy Policy for retention and applicable rights.
